When we consider the Responsive Agile Coaching model, there are three response options available to the agile coach when they arrive at the responsive moment:

1. Say and do nothing; keep sensing (listen, observe).
2. Offer some advice or do something to help or demonstrate (Show or Tell move).
3. Ask an open question, listen; hold back your opinion/judgment (Open and Hold move).

We should be looking to expand or enlarge the responsive moment. You can consider this moment to be a gap between the coach being affected and their reaction or response. The larger the gap, the more opportunity the coach has to choose how to respond.
